Introducing the 2024 Emily Nicole Wilson Scholarship: In loving memory of Emily, a remarkable 7-year-old whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. Emily’s legacy lives on through this $2,000 cheerleading scholarship, honoring her spirit of kindness and passion for cheer.

We invite students to apply for this scholarship by submitting a heartfelt video sharing their own acts of kindness and how they have made a positive impact in their communities. Whether it’s volunteering at a local shelter, helping a neighbor in need, or simply spreading joy through small acts of kindness, we want to hear your story.

Application Deadline: May 17, 2024

Ages: 4-18

Applicants are required to submit a 2-minute video submission detailing how they will represent Emily for the 2024-2025 year. Applicants are asked to speak from the heart and must represent themselves in the video. Please feel free to showcase any tumbling or cheer skills and talents within the video.

The winner shall receive a $2,000 cheerleading scholarship to be used at Champion Training Academy (CTA). This scholarship will cover all All Star Cheer-related expenses.

About Emily:

Emily Wilson left us in 2018, and the Emily Nicole Wilson Scholarship was founded in her honor. Deeply involved with cheerleading at CTA, she developed a passion for competitive cheer and tumbling. Despite participating in other sports, such as baseball, soccer, and basketball, her enthusiasm for cheerleading was evident. Known for her boundless love and zeal, she had a caring nature and generous spirit that impacted those around her. Emily wanted everyone to feel loved and important, even her beloved animal companions. She consistently sought to spread joy to her friends and family, earning nicknames like Tweety Bird and Emmy Lou. Although her absence leaves an impossible void, the legacy of her love and kindness will continue to inspire others through the Emily Nicole Wilson Scholarship.
